About This Blog

I originally made this blog in 2021 as a way to post updates or make low-commitment posts about what was goign on in my life. I ended up never using it, but recently (2026) have been drawn to the idea of picking it back up again. Lots of people these days have blogs (in particular, the famous sf people and cloutchasing sf wannabes); usually they use their blog to write about their philosophy, 'recent thoughts,' or whatever else might make them sound like the Kant of the modern day. Twitter is used similarly, aside from shitposting. I don't want that. This blog is for my thoughts in general, about anything. It is what I would tweet about if I wasn't cloutchasing, which I'm not. It'll be about engineering, random philosophy, weird conversations I've had at night, the good books I'm reading. This is for me think openly and will be a record of who I am, over the years. Hopefully I can keep it up.

Original 'about' from 2021:

This blog is meant to be seperate from my main blog (please look at this for actually interesting, well written stuff) where I post major updates/finds from my projects. Since using that, however, I've found that I'm reluctant to actually add posts there until I think that what I've done is interesting or significant... which is very annoying. Here, I'm going to detail all the little finds I make - the ideas I have, the things I've tried, the failures, and the successes. Over the summer, I did a ton of work on my quadruped and learned a lot, but since I didn't record any of it, much of that work (which involved a lot of failure) can't be seen, and no one knows what I actually did. This blog combats that - it's simple, fairly ugly, and took me only a day to make (I cranked this out on the first day of winter break, 2021). Thus, the posts will be short... just the little things that may seem insignificant, but in fact, aren't.
